Exciting Warm-Up Matches Announced for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches are set to take place from 27 May to 1 June across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago. The fixtures, scheduled from Monday to Saturday, will be held at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

A total of 17 teams will participate in the 16 warm-up games, including South Africa, who will play an intra-squad match on 29 May in Florida. These fixtures will be 20 overs per side and won’t have international T20 status, allowing teams to field all 15 squad members.

In a new change from the previous cycle, teams can now choose to play up to two warm-up matches, depending on their arrival time at the event.

One match, between the West Indies and Australia at Queen’s Park Oval on Thursday, 30 May, will be open to fans. Tickets are available at tickets.t20worldcup.com or at the box offices at the National Cricket Centre and Queen’s Park Oval starting 16 May.
