“Pakistan Cricket Stalwart Bids Farewell to Glorious 15-Year International Career”

Former Pakistan captain Javeria Khan has announced her retirement from international cricket after representing her country in 228 matches across formats. During her career, she accumulated 4903 runs, which included two centuries and 25 half-centuries.

Making her debut in 2008, Javeria participated in four Women’s Cricket World Cups (2009, 2013, 2017, and 2022) and all eight T20 World Cups (2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2023).

In her retirement statement, Javeria expressed gratitude for the support she received throughout her career and thanked her family, teammates, the Pakistan Cricket Board, her department ZTBL, and her fans. She also mentioned her availability for league cricket, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity to represent Pakistan on the global stage.
