“Unveiling Pakistan vs West Indies White-Ball Series: Everything You Need to Know!”

West Indies Women are set to embark on a tour of Pakistan next month for a limited-overs series, commencing on 18 April.

Pakistan will host West Indies for a white-ball series in April, featuring three ODIs and five T20Is.

The three ODIs will contribute to the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 and are scheduled for 18, 21, and 23 April.

Following the ODIs, a five-match T20I series will take place from 26 April to 3 May, allowing both teams ample time to fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

All matches between Pakistan and West Indies will be held at the National Bank Stadium (NBS) in Karachi.

This marks West Indies women’s second tour of Pakistan since 2021, with their last visit occurring in November 2021 for three ODIs, all of which they emerged victorious from.

The upcoming ODI series will be Pakistan’s fourth such women’s series at home, having previously hosted Sri Lanka (June 2022), Ireland (November 2022), and South Africa (September 2023).

In the ICC Women’s Championship standings 2022-25, Pakistan currently holds the third position with 16 points, while West Indies occupies the ninth spot with 8 points.

Pakistan’s forthcoming series against West Indies holds significant importance as they aim to secure maximum points in the ICC Women’s Championship matches at home and strengthen their bid for direct qualification to the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup.

Moreover, with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup approaching in September, the T20I series against West Indies will aid Pakistan in finalizing their squad for the tournament.

Tania Mallick, Pakistan’s Head of Women’s Cricket, expressed a warm welcome to the West Indies women’s team and highlighted the significance of the series in promoting women’s cricket and nurturing international cricketing relationships. She emphasized Pakistan’s determination to excel in both the ICC Women’s Championship and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, underlining the importance of the upcoming series in their preparations.
